Supply 27 Families with Essential Supplies to Fight COVID-19

As COVID-19 put a pause on some of our projects, we steered focus toward COVID relief. In collaboration with Lenesum, an organization in Ethiopia helping marginalized communities, we launched a campaign to raise $2,013 — matching the Ethiopian calendar year of 2013.

What we funded:

Each bucket costs ~$75 and provides a family of 3–5 people with a two-month supply of hygiene items: toilet paper, soap, masks, menstrual pads, hand sanitizers, water buckets, and more.

We also partnered with doctors from Lifeline Medical Services to teach a hand-hygiene session for all 27 families.

Who benefits: Families from Yekelem Amba Primary School in Addis Ababa — a school we’ve partnered with since 2019.
